Act 2015-52 - Effective 10/1/2016 - Addition of lodgings tax to ONE SPOT and provsion for a uniform due date for local taxes eligible to be filed through the ONE SPOT system.
IMPORTANT - April 1, 2016 - New Originating Company ID # - An important piece of the ONE SPOT system is the local governments' and third party tax administrators' banking setup with the ONE SPOT payment processor. This is to inform you of an upcoming change that you will need to make with your bank or financial institution to insure that the payment process continues to flow unhindered.
The payment processor's Originating Company ID #s that were provided to you during your initial banking setup process are being changed effective April 1, 2016, because the payment processor is updating and streamlining its internal processes. At this time we don't anticipate any further changes will be needed. In preparation for this change, you will need to add an additional Originating Company ID # to the bank account where you receive the ONE SPOT deposits. Please add the new Originating Company ID "2621862182" before April 1, 2016. To prevent issues with current payments, it is important that you do not remove the current Originating Company IDs "9775071990" and "9803595965" until after April 1, 2016.
