NOTICE
TO: Tobacco Wholesalers
SUBJECT: Hand Applied Sheets of $0.675 stamps
Recently, the Department received a new inventory of hand applied stamps for packs of 20 cigarettes. These stamps are on padded sheets (150 stamps/sheet with 10 sheets per pad) and must be sold as a pad of sheets in increments of 1,500 stamps/pad. Persons who do not wish to receive these type stamps, have the option to purchase 7,200 wide rolls or rolls of 30,000 stamps.
As a reminder, stamp orders should be placed by logging into your tobacco tax account at www.MyAlabamaTaxes.Alabama.gov (MAT) and selecting the appropriate denomination of stamps. Stamp orders will no longer be accepted via phone or fax. The stamp ordering form in MAT will be updated to reflect this change.
