MEMORANDUM 2017-019
TO: License Plate Issuing Officials
SUBJECT: Alabama Title System (ALTS) Migration
The Motor Vehicle Division is allowing all designated agents to migrate to the new Alabama Title System (ALTS). All licensing officials have now been provided access to ALTS to ensure that licensing offices can process registrations with new title applications created in the new system. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your system integration with ALTS, please contact your system vendor.
As your offices begin using ALTS, please note that specific user access roles (i.e. Senior User) can be set up by MVTRIP administrators through CAPSlock. Additionally, training videos are available for viewing on MVTRIP under the ribbon entitled “ALTS Training Videos”. Please note ETAPS will continue to be available to begin new title applications for a short period of time, and to complete title applications that were started prior to ALTS implementation.
