Details and Requirements
To be considered for an ALDOR Internship, you must:
- Be a sophomore, junior or senior in good standing at a four-year, accredited college or university;
- Have a declared major in one of the following disciplines:
- Accounting
- Business-related degrees (business administration, public administration, finance, marketing, management, or related field)
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Have successfully completed a minimum of three courses in the field of your major.
As an ALDOR intern, you will work in one of the following tax divisions:
- Business and License Tax
- Collections
- Financial Operations
- Income Tax Administration
- Income Tax Audit and Appeals
- Information Technology
- Internal Audit
- Investigations
- Motor Vehicle
- Property Tax
- Sales and Use Tax
Internships are available in Montgomery at ALDOR’s central office, as well as across the state at our taxpayer service centers, located in:
- Florence
- Huntsville
- Gadsden
- Birmingham
- Tuscaloosa
- Montgomery
- Auburn/Opelika
- Dothan
- Mobile
NOTE: Internships in Information Technology or Computer Science are available in Montgomery central office only.
