2025 Limitations:

Chilton County – 7011

The “holiday” ONLY applies to Chilton County’s (7011) regular sales and use tax rate of 2% and Chilton County’s (7711) regular sales and use tax rate of 1%.

Chilton County DOES NOT GRANT a holiday for the remaining 2% collected for education and the hospital.

Geneva County – 7031

The “holiday” ONLY applies to Geneva County’s 1 percent sales and use tax for Jail Construction.

Geneva County DOES NOT GRANT a holiday for the remaining 1 percent levied for education.

Jefferson County – 7037

The “holiday” ONLY applies to Jefferson County’s 1 percent sales and use tax.

Jefferson County DOES NOT GRANT a holiday for the remaining 1 percent Special
Revenue (7337) sales and use tax that is levied for special purposes including
educational purposes.

Spanish Fort – 9102

The “holiday” ONLY applies to Spanish Fort’s 1.5 percent sales and use tax.

Spanish Fort DOES NOT GRANT a holiday for the additional taxes levied for
Spanish Fort Town Center District (9203) and Spanish Fort Eastern Shore
District (9202).

St. Clair County – 7059 and 7759

The “holiday” ONLY applies to St. Clair County’s 1 percent sales and use tax.

St. Clair County DOES NOT GRANT a holiday for the remaining 1 percent levied for
education.
