Charge is imposed on the first withdrawal of a motor fuel from bulk and on motor fuels imported into Alabama.

Based on invoiced gallons in an amount which shall be not greater than $0.02 per gallon, nor less than $0.003 per gallon as determined by the Alabama Environmental Management Commission and the Trust Fund Management Board. The current rate is $0.012 per gallon.
