Required Documents

Registrants desiring to purchase a license plate in this category must present to the license plate issuing official a membership card distributed by the sorority denoting the individual’s membership in the sorority. Registrants may provide one of the following membership cards issued by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.:

  • Chapter Member non-expired
  • General Member (Boule’) non-expired
  • Life Member (there is no expiration date)

Registration Fees:

$23 – $890

  • $50 annually
  • $5 metal plate

The net proceeds are distributed to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., to provide scholarships to both undergraduate and graduate members of the sorority within the State of Alabama.
