Yard Truck


Issued to a truck-tractor commonly known as a terminal tractor, spotter truck, yard truck, yard jockey, or mule owned by a certified motor carrier and operated exclusively within 15 miles of the corporate limits of an incorporated municipality in which it is customarily domiciled, but not including vehicles operating beyond the borders of Alabama. The license plate is displayed on truck-tractors that are used to move semi-trailers within a cargo yard, warehouse facility, or intermodal facility.
