Jennifer Byrd began her career with the Alabama Department of Revenue in 1993. She has garnered three decades of experience working in Sales and Use Tax, Economic Development, and Property Tax.
Prior to her appointment as Deputy Commissioner, Jennifer served as Director of the Property Tax Division, where she held various management positions over the last 20 years.
As Deputy Commissioner, Jennifer is responsible for overseeing the Property Tax and Motor Vehicle Divisions.
Jennifer received the Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from Troy State University in 1992. She is a native of Troy, Alabama.
