N/A – All residents of Alabama who are vehicle owners and supporters of the Alabama Sheriffs Foundation may purchase license plates in this category.

Registration Fees:

$15 – $890, depending on the type of vehicle being registered

Additional Fees:

  • $50 annually
  • $5 when metal plate is issued

The net proceeds of the $50 are distributed to the Alabama Sheriffs Foundation to provide educational training and technology assistance to sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, sheriff’s employees, and strategic local law enforcement partners.

The net proceeds of the $5 shall be distributed to ALDOR.
